If you are flying to Green Acre, there are three airports within 60 miles: Boston MA (Logan), Manchester NH, and Portland ME. Logan in Boston is the only airport with a public bus line transportation option from the airport to nearby Portsmouth, NH, from which you will need to take a taxi for the last approximately 4 miles. Those details are below. You can also consider the two services listed below (Flightline and Mermaid) that will do airport to Green Acre direct transportation from any of the three airports.

Driving From Logan Airport in Boston: When exiting airport, bear RIGHT, take Route 1A North, go to Route 60 West (approximately 3 miles), LEFT off Route 1A, follow Route 60 (go through 2 traffic circles) to Route 1A and then Route 1. Follow Route 1 to I-95 North. Then follow:

Driving North from Massachusetts or East across New Hampshire: Take I-95 North to Maine. There is a $2.00 toll shortly after crossing the New Hampshire border. Cross the Piscataqua River Bridge into Maine, take the first exit on the RIGHT (Exit 1, Dennett Road) immediately over the bridge. At the end of the exit ramp, turn LEFT at the stop sign. Drive ¼ mile and take the first RIGHT (Route 103, South Eliot Road). Follow Route 103 for about 3 miles to the Green Acre Office (938 Main Street), a cream-colored house with gazebo-style porch , on your right. Note: The town of Eliot, ME has changed the street address for Green Acre to 938 Main Street, Eliot, ME 03903; however, Google Maps still shows Green Acre listed at 188 Main Street, Eliot, ME 03903.

The Sarah Farmer Inn and the Kelsey Center conference and classroom building, as well as most of the other buildings, are down the private road to the left, across from the office.

Driving South on I-95: Continue to the southern end of Maine Turnpike at York Toll Booth. After the York Toll Booth, take Exit 2 (Eliot, small sign) marked "South Berwick/Kittery/Route 236 (big sign)." At the end of the ramp, turn LEFT at the stop sign and go North on Route 236. Drive approximately 3 miles to traffic light (Eliot Commons shopping center will be on your left). Turn LEFT at light onto Beech Road. Follow road to end. Turn RIGHT and then take the next LEFT (between gas station and store) onto Moses Gerrish Farmer Road (Route 103 EAST). Continue about ½ mile down and around the curve to the Green Acre office (938 Main Street), a cream-colored house with gazebo-style porch, on your left. C&J Trailways Bus Line from Logan Airport (Boston) to Portsmouth, NH (approximately 1 1/2 hours): In the airline terminal baggage department ask for the location of C&J Trailways Bus Stop. Purchase a ticket to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Approximate Cost: $22 one-way, $40 round trip. If paying bus driver, CASH only, no bills over $20. From the Bus Terminal in Portsmouth: Call Blue Star Cab at (603) 436-2774 or Sunshine Taxi at (603) 431-4555 or any company you find listed via an internet search, or the companies below. (We have found that taxi companies go in and out of business frequently, so please do check on pricing and availability before you leave home.) Fare to Green Acre should be about $25 to $30. The cab should drop you off at our Campus Office, 938 Main Street in Eliot, Maine, but you may want to have them wait to drive you to your housing, which might be a distance from the office.
