Nommo Kofi Diop is a Liberation Architect, Revolutionary Crafter, and Animator whose work exists at the intersection of art, spirituality, and political organizing. His practice is rooted in a lifelong love for Africa and a mission to “Africanize the conscience and unbend reality back toward justice.”
He began painting and drawing from elementary school, and went on to study art (general studio practice) at San Jose State University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in 2000. Currently his emphasis is on African collective thought and patterns exploring internal creativity, by deconstructing the present negative world and surrounding himself in an environment that looks beyond the external to paint and draw a positive unprecedented vision of the present future.
