I have been an artist and poet for about 43 years now. I live in Harpswell, Maine with my mom, and have my studio in our house. I’ve been to a number of art schools but it’s not the school that matters to me but the teachers that are there. It is the great artists of any culture that I've learned the most from. I was fortunate to have a teacher who could teach how to put spirit and sincerity into art. And he was able to do it in his own art. As we know the Bahá’í teachings give great importance to the arts and says that the arts promote civilization’s forward movement. This motivates me and gives me purpose.
