SUMMARY:HAVEN Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:Doors open at 6:30 PM \n\n\n\n\n*Stop and Talk signage with some of the Artist Call questions\n\n\n\nReading of the Call\n\n\n\nArtist Sharing “The call inspired me in this way… what do you see in my work based on the call or my inspiration?”\n\n\n\nInteractive small group reflections based on one of the Artist Call quotes\n\n\n\n\nTheme Questions:\n\n\n\nPersonal experience \n\n\n\n\nWhat is the experience of seeking for a haven\, of moving from being lost to finding a place where you discover what you’re searching for?\n\n\n\nWhat is a place that gives you the strength and direction to build something new\, even amidst challenging conditions?\n\n\n\n\nBuilding havens \n\n\n\n\nHow might a family\, neighborhood\, or community be a haven\, a place where people support each other to have the physical\, emotional and spiritual elements one needs to thrive?\n\n\n\nHow might a haven be a place to seed and grow something better? How can we build long-lasting community havens?\n\n\n\n\nArts as a haven \n\n\n\n\nHow can the arts be a haven for healing\, peace\, dignity\, and community resilience?\n\n\n\nHow can we create havens for our relationship with the source of creativity?\n\n\n\n\nOf course\, the creative process need not be limited to these questions. \n\n\n\nHave an idea for a live show or discourse space? Write us at art@greenacre.org \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nView full Artist Call
