SUMMARY:Honoring Sarah Farmer
DESCRIPTION:Join Green Acre as we honor a woman ‘Abdu’l-Bahá said will “…become the envy of the queens of all regions and wilt be the rival of all the celebrated people of the world.” Born July 22nd 1847\, Sarah Jane Farmer founded Green Acre as a center of learning and peace\, and was named by Shoghi Effendi as one of the nineteen Disciples of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. Why did ‘Abdu’l-Bahá speak so highly of this remarkable woman whose station we are only as yet dimly aware of? Discover more through our free zoom event that will include music\, drama\, and short tributes by Dr. Anne Perry and friends\, with time for brief interactive discussion.
