Pre-Registration | Family Program 2 | August

Welcome to Pre-Registration for Summer School | Family Program 2 which will be held August 21-25. This year’s program is designed to assist families make a unique contribution to the community building process developing at the local level. Learn more here.

For this program, first priority will be given to residents of the Northeastern States, and then those who haven’t attended Green Acre family programs previously or recently. Since these programs depend on volunteers to assist with the kitchen and in hospitality, as well as teaching children’s classes, those serving in this way will also be given priority.

Because of the high demand for these programs, we are continuing with a multi-step registration process. The first step is pre-registration which allows families to indicate their interest in attending the program. This is then followed by three rounds of invitations where families will be invited to formally register for the program. For those who don’t receive an invitation in the first round, they will automatically be placed on the waiting list. The same process will follow with the second and third rounds of invitations to formally register. 

The multi-step process will be as follows:

1. Pre-Registration
   • On Wednesday, May 28 at 9:00 AM, Eastern Time, we will open our Pre-Registration form. Pre-Registration closes May 30 at 11:59 PM Eastern.
   • This simplified form will ask for only basic information for each family and is an indicator of interest in attending. Filling out this initial form does not mean one has registered for the program.
   • We will be prioritizing families and friends from the Northeast, and then those who have not attended Green Acre family programs previously or recently, as well as volunteers. Because of this prioritization, this is not a first come, first served process.

2. Invitation to Formal Registration
   • After the initial Pre-Registration period, for those invited to the program, we will send a separate link to formally invite you to register and you will have three days to register. We will do three rounds of invitations as follows:
     • Round 1 – will be sent on 5/31
     • Round 2 – will be sent on 6/3
     • Round 3 – will be sent on 6/7
   • For those who don’t receive an invitation in the first round, they will automatically be placed on the waiting list and the same process will follow with the second and third rounds. Please be sure not to make any travel arrangements until you have formally registered.
