Angela Denise is abstract artist based in New Jersey. She has been on an artistic journey for the past few years that has chronicled her mental and physical challenges dealing with chronic pain and two invisible illnesses and her healing thru Art. Over the past few months she has delved deeper into her artistic purpose and surrendered to the healing power that Art has given her. The pieces that are being represented today tell a story of how at our lowest darkest and most painful moments, we can hold on to that inner light to lead our way out. The first painting from this series entitled “Ascension,” chronicles her journey of rising out of the physical and mental blocks that sometimes hold us captive with doubt and fear. Only when we are able to face those darkest moment as our authentic selves will we ever be granted the privilege of walking into the light of our greatness. The paintings in this series are each a testament to the hope, joy and faith that we each seek.
