Andrea McLean is a musician, educator, arts-based researcher, and community mobilizer. Her work is rooted at the intersection of music, knowledge creation, and culturally responsive community practice. As a Jamaican-born Canadian arts worker, she draws on the aesthetics of Jamaican musical forms and situates her work within the lineage of sound system culture.

As an educator, she is committed to creating learning spaces that support personal and social transformation. She is completing her BA in Music at the University of Waterloo and is the founder of Relational Study in Sound Studio (RSIS Studio), established in 2026.
