I grew up in Aotearoa New Zealand, a country with rich diversity of natural beauty, cultures, influences, as well as a strong arts and pottery tradition. The land, its unique fauna and flora steeped in the creation and formative stories of Maori, the tangata whenua or the people of the land, continue to breathe through my work and ways of being in the wider world. These days I live in Boston and find expression through pottery and drawing.
