After receiving a bachelor of arts degree in English and Religion, Roger Davis spent 40 years teaching science to middle school students in rural Appalchia Virginia, the School of Nations in Brazil, and Gloucester MA where he still resides. In many Bahá’í children’s classes, including 19 years with Camp Green Acre, he poetically has striven to explore with children and youth the science behind the many metaphors in the Bahá’í Writings. “Imperishable”, his book of poems, together with selections from the Bahá’í Writings on the nature of the soul and its life beyond death, is available from the Bahá’í Distribution Service. More collections of his poetry are expected soon.
