Based on his research and the book of the same name, it explores nine essential ingredients for understanding and improving any relationship, using the art of dance as a powerful metaphor and practice. Djeffrey Jean-Philippe is an award-winning artist, educator, and choreographer, who recently earned his M.F.A (2025) from Bennington College. His deep motivation is evident in his pioneering research in Afro-Latin dances ( like Kimpada), Street-Dance styles. As founder/director of The Expressive Movement. Djeffrey showcases his exceptional talent and gifts through his practices of the diaspora. His well-rounded expertise spans diverse dance forms, artistic direction, curating and facilitating events, and all while building community, with keynotes on social justice, systemic oppression, and connecting with each other as community care. He has championed community through Positive Street Art, Switch Jam dance events, “Our Space” art center, inspiring holistic wellness and connection. Djeffrey’s journey underscores a powerful commitment to creative excellence, education, and positive global impact.
