Foundations of Global Harmony & Planetary Peace

Fri 10/6 @ 5:00 pm EDT Sun 10/8 @ 1:30 pm EDT

One Planet Peace Forum (OPPF) is pleased to announce that its 4th annual gathering will be held October 6-8, for the first time in-person at historic Green Acre on the Piscataqua River in Eliot, Maine. The weekend will include two hybrid sessions on Saturday afternoon that will be live streamed worldwide and a special world music celebration Saturday afternoon with Randy Armstrong and friends.

This year’s theme, Foundations of Global Harmony and Planetary Peace, explores the questions: Why is race amity a prerequisite to world peace? How do inner harmony and fierce civility build peace? How is truth telling foundational to peace? Why are both contemplative and activist roles needed to create a culture of peace?

The program starts at 5pm Friday, October 6 and concludes after lunch Sunday, the 8th. For more information and to register, go to: www.oneplanetpeaceforum.org

Presenters for 2023 include:

  • Ervin Lazslo, world renowned systems thinker and author of 100 books

OPPF shares the perspective of the Parliament of the World’s Religions, as stated in their Declaration, A Global Ethic, “We consider humankind our family… We commit ourselves to a culture of non-violence, justice, and peace… to make a just and peaceful world, we must first change the consciousness of individuals…”
